Dr. Hargreaves Wins Military Health Research Award

Dr. Hargreaves photoKenneth M. Hargreaves, D.D.S., Ph.D., has won the Outstanding Research Accomplishment (Individual/Academia) Award from the Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS).

The award recognizes outstanding research contributions on the health and well-being of the military by an individual research scientist.

His nomination for the MHSRS award notes that his research “wil significantly advance the treatment options for combat-related pain and provide new guidelines for pain management using non-opioids medications in active duty military personnel or VA populations, which will have a significant impact on science, public health, military policy, and on improving the lives of military service members and their families.”
