Date: Friday, November 16, 2018

Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Location: UT Health San Antonio, Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute Room 2.160

Immuno-PET with radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) offers unique opportunities to non-invasively interrogate in vivo target expression, distribution and to obtain reliable diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic information. This technique is widely applicable in the development of mAb-based diagnostics and therapeutics due to the extraordinary versatility and high sensitivity of positron emitters and superior selectivity of mAbs. Due to recent advances in protein engineering, bioconjugation techniques, and proven success in cancer imaging research, applications of immuno-PET is now expanding to other disease areas including infectious disease.
