IIMS/CTSA 9th Annual Frontiers of Translational Science Research Day
The Institute for Integration of Medicine & Science (IIMS) at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA), in partnership with UT San Antonio’s (UTSA’s) Research Centers in Minority Institutions and Department of Biomedical Engineering, would like to invite you to the 9th Annual Frontiers of Translational Science Research Day – May 2, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. We want to showcase posters that illustrate either completed or on-going research projects in Translational Science. We welcome submissions from UTHSCSA and UTSA, as well as all IIMS/CTSA partnering organizations. This year's Research Day theme is substance use and abuse, including the rapidly evolving opioid crisis. Our guest scientist, Dr. Sharon Walsh from the University of Kentucky, works in this area and we are especially encouraging the submission of posters that deal with that topic, although studies on any aspect of translational and clinical research are welcome.
Event date: May 2, 2018
