[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]To participate in any research project with the South Texas Psychiatric Network, you are required to complete\u00a0a Human Subjects Protection (HSP)\u00a0training course.\u00a0 The Institutional Review Board (IRB) at\u00a0UT Health San Antonio requires that the training be taken every two years.\u00a0Please follow the instructions\u00a0that pertain to you so that you become certified.<\/p>\n

If you practice at a Department of Defense Veterans Affairs facility<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Complete the HSP training modules\u00a0available at\u00a0https:\/\/www.citiprogram.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Contact waxler@uthscsa.edu<\/a>\u00a0when complete so that we may verify your training.<\/p>\n

If you DO NOT practice at a Department of Defense Veterans Affairs facility<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

1. Read these PowerPoint slides<\/a> or watch this\u00a0video.<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Contact IIMS-CE@uthscsa.edu<\/a> to receive a private link to the HSP quiz.\u00a0 As you take the quiz, you may refer to this training booklet<\/a>\u00a0as needed.<\/p>\n
