Randomized Trials and Their Independent Data Monitoring Committees: Impacts on Clinical Practice

Intensive training on clinical trials with an emphasis on Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) roles and responsibility in Florida in February 29 and March 1, 2020.

As we are aware, there is a growing critical shortage of trained and experienced clinical and statistical colleagues to serve on DMCs. This continuing medical education (CME) conference will be a first step in addressing the gap. 

We have assembled a group of experienced clinical trial researchers, both statistical and clinical, who have already presented  at professional meetings and at the Food and Drug Administration to guide interactive case-based sessions.

The concept is to offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit for physicians who may be interested in serving on DMCs.  The conference will be held at the Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Florida.  As such, we need to have a minimum number of registered attendees to make this effort viable by December 15, 2019.  So register today.
