This is the first group of investigators to receive funding from the IIMS/CTSA Translational Technologies and Resources Supplemental Awards. The RFA was distributed in December 2008 and 20 applications were received by February 9, 2009. The primary specific aims of the Translational Technologies and Resources program are as follows:

  • Improve access to equipment and services necessary for innovative research.
  • Provide advice and consultation in the application of innovative technologies to translational research.
  • Provide an enhances and integrated educational program to support training in the use of advanced and evolving technologies in reasearch for students, fellows, researchers and their staff.
