T1 to T4 in 3 (Minutes) Challenge

T1 to T4 in 3 (Minutes) Challenge

What is the T1 to T4 in 3 (Minutes) Challenge?

This event highlights multidisciplinary UT Health SA research projects that fall within the spectrum of translational science. The T1 – T4 in 3 (Minutes) Challenge is a collaborative effort between the IIMS Community Health Advisory Board (CHAB), Community Engagement, and the Office of Research Education.  This competition challenges individuals to present their research in 3 minutes to a mixed audience of faculty, staff, students, and community members.  Participants present 1 slide and use language and concepts that are compelling and easy to understand. In addition to promoting the dissemination of research project findings to scientific and non-scientific communities, this event builds the communication and presentation skills of all presenters. Take part in this competition to demonstrate your mastery of research communication skills, an essential skill required in all areas of the field. Win or lose, participating in this competition is a fantastic opportunity to share your research project with community members and investigators, boost your presentation confidence, and learn about other research projects.

Why Share Research Findings?

This is an important opportunity to engage with the community and different disciplines to help increase the reach, effectiveness uptake, and implementation of health research.
