An innovative and integrated Biostatistics and Study Design Program (BSDP) of the Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science (IIMS) is critical to transforming the San Antonio clinical and translational research community into a more dynamic integrated research enterprise fostering creative thinking and progress in clinical and translational science.

BSDP faculty provide researchers with high quality advice on study design and apply state-of-the-art analytic methods to maximize interpretability, reliability and generalizability of data generated by our clinical and translational research projects. The BSDP will also provide support to researchers to enhance project management, development and execution by bringing together the informatics and computational resources required to manage and monitor project flow to assure patient/participant safety and data quality.
